SECP · IFRS S1/S2 · Pakistan
Pakistan's sustainability mandate is here. We help you meet it.
Solvevia is Pakistan's dedicated sustainability advisory partner, helping listed companies meet SECP's IFRS S1 and S2 requirements, and helping professional firms build the capability to serve them.

The regulatory moment
SECP's mandate is already in effect.
SECP made IFRS S1 and S2 sustainability reporting mandatory in December 2024. Phase I companies report from July 2025, Phase II from 2026, Phase III from 2027. Assurance is required from Year 2.
In December 2025, SECP expanded its ESG Disclosure Guidelines to cover all PSX-listed companies and public interest organisations, aligned with the Pakistan Green Taxonomy. Boards must now form Sustainability Committees.
Every listed company and public interest organisation in Pakistan now has sustainability reporting obligations. Most are not prepared.
Who we work with
Two audiences. One mission.
Listed Companies and Public Interest Organisations
You are in scope. Your reporting deadline is approaching. Governance gaps, missing data infrastructure, and limited internal expertise stand between you and compliance. Solvevia takes you from readiness assessment to disclosure-ready reporting.
Audit and Advisory Firms
Your clients are already in scope, and they are asking you first. Most firms don't yet have sustainability capability. Solvevia gives you that capability under your own brand.
Our services
Four service brackets. Full lifecycle coverage.
From gap assessment to disclosure-ready reporting, one partner for the whole journey.
How we work: six steps, first conversation to assurance-ready reporting

Advisory to talent, all within one firm. No handoffs, no accountability gaps.

Your deadline is set. Let's make sure you are ready.
Compliance requires more than good intentions. It requires the right partner.
Solvevia helps Pakistani listed companies and professional firms navigate SECP's sustainability mandate, with technical rigour and deep local knowledge.
Our story
Why Solvevia exists.
Solvevia was founded by chartered accountants with global audit backgrounds and deep roots in Pakistan's corporate environment. We saw what was coming: SECP's IFRS S1 and S2 mandate would create demand for sustainability expertise that Pakistan's market wasn't ready to meet.
Most listed companies and public interest organisations have never produced a sustainability disclosure. Most professional firms don't yet have the capability to help them. The deadlines are already set.
Solvevia was built to close that gap, grounded in what SECP actually requires, not a global template with Pakistan bolted on.
We cover the full journey within one firm. For companies, we are the execution partner. For firms, we are the technical capability behind their practice.
Mission
Help Pakistani organisations meet SECP's sustainability mandate with technical precision, from first assessment to assured reporting.
Vision
To be Pakistan's most trusted sustainability advisory firm.
Core values
The principles that guide our work.
Technical Rigour
Grounded in IFRS S1/S2, the GHG Protocol, and ISSA 5000. No cutting corners.
Pakistan-First
Built around Pakistan's regulatory environment, not adapted from it.
Full Accountability
One firm, start to finish. No handoffs, no gaps.
Capability Building
Our goal is to make our clients self-sufficient, not dependent.

Why this matters now
The window is narrowing.
Phase I companies are already reporting. Phase II starts in 2026, Phase III in 2027. Assurance follows from Year 2, meaning Phase I companies need assurance-ready documentation by 2027.
Pakistan's sustainability talent pool is thin. Governance gaps are widespread. Most companies have no ESG data infrastructure and no in-house expertise.
Solvevia exists to close that gap, within a single firm.
Ready to understand where your organisation stands?
A structured six-step model. First conversation to assurance-ready reporting.
Sustainability compliance touches governance, data, operations, and people at once. Solvevia manages the full journey so nothing slips through.
The six-step engagement model
How we take you from where you are to where you need to be.
Two engagement models
Structured around where you are.
Full Execution Partner
We deliver any or all service brackets, from readiness assessment to assurance-ready disclosure. Scoped as discrete projects or ongoing retainers.
Suited to
Companies beginning preparation. Firms wanting full white-label delivery under their own brand.
Capability and Talent Partner
For organisations that want to build internal capability over time. Learning programmes, workshops, and talent acquisition support.
Suited to
Organisations building an internal sustainability function. Firms developing their own practice over the medium term.
Why a single partner matters
No handoffs. No gaps. One firm, start to finish.
Most organisations end up juggling multiple providers, one for the gap assessment, another for data systems, another for the report. Every handoff loses time and accountability.
Solvevia covers the full lifecycle. Same team, same context, from first conversation to final disclosure.
The comparison
The case for an external partner.
Let's start with a scoping conversation. No commitment required.
We assess where you are, design where you need to go, and map how to get there.
Advisory is the starting point for every compliance journey, before anything gets built, reported, or assured.
Four advisory workstreams. One integrated picture.
What it is
An evaluation of how prepared you are, and which sustainability topics matter most to your business.
What we do
Gap analysis against IFRS S1/S2 and SECP's ESG Guidelines. Double materiality assessment covering both financial and impact materiality. Peer benchmarking. A prioritised compliance roadmap.
What you receive
Gap analysis report. Documented materiality assessment. Benchmarking summary. Compliance roadmap with deadlines.
What it is
The governance architecture SECP requires for sustainability reporting.
What we do
We design your Sustainability Committee structure and TORs, define Board oversight, and integrate sustainability into corporate strategy, aligned with SECP's governance code.
What you receive
Committee structure and TORs. Board oversight framework. Strategy integration document. Governance alignment assessment.
What it is
An assessment of your exposure to climate-related risks, as required under IFRS S2.
What we do
Physical and transition risk analysis across your value chain, scenario modelling under IFRS S2, and supply chain risk mapping.
What you receive
Climate risk assessment. Scenario modelling summary. Operational impact identification. Supply chain risk map.
What it is
The information architecture you need to capture, manage, and report sustainability data.
What we do
We map your existing data flows, identify gaps, recommend the right technology platform, and produce a GHG methodology framework ahead of implementation.
What you receive
Data flow mapping. Gap identification. Technology recommendations. GHG methodology framework.
Who this is for
For Listed Companies and Public Interest Organisations
If you haven't begun structured preparation, this is where you start.
For Audit and Advisory Firms
We deliver Advisory under your brand. You lead the client relationship, we provide the technical capability.
Advisory is the foundation. Everything else builds on it.
The gap analysis shapes implementation. The materiality assessment determines what must be disclosed. Skip this phase and everything downstream risks being built on the wrong priorities.
Why Solvevia
Grounded in SECP's actual requirements
Built around IFRS S1/S2, the ESG Guidelines, and the Pakistan Green Taxonomy, not generic global frameworks.
Double materiality done properly
A documented, defensible methodology, not a workshop exercise.
A roadmap you can actually execute
Scoped to your real constraints, timelines, and phase deadlines.
Seamless transition to implementation
Same firm, same team, from advisory through to build.
Not sure where your organisation stands? Start here.
A readiness assessment gives you a clear picture before you commit resource to anything else.
We do the work. Turning advisory recommendations into systems, data, and operational reality.
Advisory tells you what needs to be done. Implementation is where it gets done, GHG inventories, data systems, policies, supplier assessments, decarbonisation planning.
Five implementation workstreams. Built for SECP compliance.
What it is
The quantitative foundation of your IFRS S2 disclosure, and the most technically demanding part of implementation.
What we do
We build your inventory across Scope 1, 2, and 3, using Pakistan-specific emission factors including NEPRA grid factors, with assurance-ready data collection and methodology.
What you receive
Completed GHG inventory. Pakistan-calibrated emission factor library. Documented methodology. Assurance-ready calculation workbooks.
What it is
The technology infrastructure to collect and manage ESG data reliably.
What we do
We select, configure, and deploy your ESG data platform, integrate it with your existing systems, and test it for audit-readiness.
What you receive
Deployed data platform. System integration. Data pipeline documentation. Audit-readiness report.
What it is
The policies and controls that support credible, assurance-ready reporting.
What we do
We draft your environmental, social, and governance policies, including anti-harassment policy required under SECP's governance code, and the control frameworks behind your data.
What you receive
Environmental management policy. Social and governance policy suite. Anti-harassment policy. Controls framework.
What it is
An assessment of your supply chain against ESG criteria, required for Scope 3 disclosure.
What we do
We assess your key suppliers, support Scope 3 data collection, and document supply chain risk for disclosure.
What you receive
Assessment framework. Completed supplier assessments. Scope 3 data inputs. Supply chain risk summary.
What it is
Emission reduction targets and a decarbonisation roadmap, once your baseline is established.
What we do
We support science-based target setting aligned with Pakistan's NDCs and build a roadmap with interim milestones.
What you receive
Emission reduction targets. Decarbonisation roadmap. NDC alignment summary. Disclosure-ready target language.
Who this is for
For Listed Companies and Public Interest Organisations
Once your readiness assessment is done, this is where we execute.
For Audit and Advisory Firms
We deliver implementation under your brand. You manage the relationship, we do the technical work.
This is where obligations become reality.
A roadmap without implementation is just a document. The GHG inventory becomes the backbone of your disclosure. The controls become the evidence base your assurance provider relies on.
Why Solvevia
GHG methodology built for Pakistan
Pakistan-specific emission factors, not global defaults.
Assurance-ready from day one
Everything we build is designed to the standard your assurance provider expects.
Systems that integrate with what you have
We work with your existing ERP and finance systems, not against them.
Same team from advisory through implementation
No knowledge transfer. No scope gaps.
Ready to move from planning to execution?
Let us build the systems and controls your organisation needs to report with confidence.
Preparing your disclosure. Making sure it holds up under independent review.
Reporting brings governance, climate risk, GHG data, and targets together into one disclosure. We make sure that when your assurance provider arrives, everything they need is already there.
Three connected workstreams.
What it is
Your full sustainability disclosure, in line with IFRS S1/S2 and SECP's ESG Guidelines.
What we do
We prepare all four required pillars: governance disclosures, strategy disclosures including climate scenario analysis, risk management disclosures, and metrics and targets. Aligned with the Pakistan Green Taxonomy, structured for your Annual Report or as a standalone document. For audit and advisory firms, we prepare the disclosure under your brand. You review, sign off, and deliver to the client.
What you receive
Complete disclosure draft across all four pillars. Taxonomy alignment section. Report structured for Annual Report or standalone publication.
What it is
White-label back-office support for firms delivering sustainability assurance engagements.
What we do
We handle the technical groundwork under your brand, working paper preparation, evidence compilation, methodology documentation, and technical review support.
What you receive
Working papers to your standards. Organised evidence packs. Methodology documentation. Technical review support.
What it is
Preparation to ensure your disclosures are ready for independent assurance, before your auditors arrive. SECP requires assurance from Year 2 of reporting, for Phase I companies, that's 2027. Preparation must start now; assurance providers can't certify what wasn't properly documented.
What we do
We build complete evidence packs, document your GHG methodology defensibly, design controls to auditing standards, and prepare management representations. For firms, we provide GHG methodology review, controls testing, and documentation structured to ISSA 5000.
What you receive
Assurance-ready evidence pack. Controls documentation. Defensible GHG methodology. Management representation files. For firms: technical support structured to ISSA 5000.
Who this is for
For Listed Companies and Public Interest Organisations
Once implementation is complete, this is where we prepare your actual disclosure. You appoint your own auditor, we make sure they have everything they need.
For Audit and Advisory Firms
We provide the full reporting and assurance layer under your brand. Your firm signs, we do the technical work.
Preparation starts now, not later.
The assurance timeline
Organisations that build assurance-ready systems from the start avoid qualifications later.
Why Solvevia
Built on what SECP actually requires
Not adapted from generic global templates.
Assurance-ready by design, not afterthought
Every deliverable is built to the standard an assurance provider expects.
The same team that implemented, reports
No handoff, no knowledge gap.
For firms, you sign, we deliver
We operate entirely behind your brand, with no conflict of interest.
Your reporting deadline is set. Your assurance deadline follows.
Start preparing early and meet both without disruption.
Building the internal capability organisations need. Because this can't stay outsourced forever.
Pakistan's sustainability talent pool is thin, and demand is about to accelerate sharply. Solvevia addresses this through structured learning programmes and two talent acquisition pathways.
Two workstreams: learning and development, and talent acquisition.
What it is
Structured programmes for finance professionals, sustainability managers, board members, and audit teams.
What we cover
IFRS S1 and S2. ESG Disclosure Guidelines and the Pakistan Green Taxonomy. GHG accounting and carbon literacy. Materiality assessment. Governance integration. Assurance standards including ISSA 5000.
How it is delivered
Cohort courses, in-house workshops, or self-paced modules. Relevant for ICAP, ACCA, and CFA sustainability pathways.
What you receive
Tailored learning programme. Course materials aligned to IFRS S1/S2 and SECP requirements. Competency tracking. CPD-relevant content.
What it is
Targeted hiring support through two pathways.
Pathway 1: Trained Professionals
We source and place professionals who already have the technical knowledge.
Pathway 2: Build and Train
We identify high-potential professionals and train them through our programmes, tailored to your reporting context.
What you receive
Role scoping. Candidate sourcing and screening. Competency assessment. Onboarding support.
Who this is for
For Listed Companies and Public Interest Organisations
If you need an internal function that can manage future reporting cycles independently, this is the investment that makes it possible.
For Audit and Advisory Firms
Our programmes cover the IFRS S1/S2 knowledge base, GHG methodology, and assurance standards your team needs.
Capability building is what makes compliance sustainable.
Outsourcing works for the first cycle or two, but it isn't a permanent strategy. The organisations that manage this best use external partners to build internal capability, not to replace it indefinitely.
Why Solvevia
Pakistan-specific curriculum
Built around SECP's actual requirements.
Developed by practitioners
Delivered by chartered accountants with direct Big4 experience.
Aligned to certification pathways
Relevant for ICAP, ACCA, and CFA CPD requirements.
Integrated with delivery
Capability building can run alongside live engagements.
The talent gap is real. The window to address it is now.
Whether you need to hire or train, Solvevia has the pathway.
